The Da Nang government has issued document No. 5496/UBND-KT on implementing Prime Minister-signed Decision No. 25/2023/QD-TTg dated October 3, 2023 regarding the reduction of land rental fees for 2023.

Accordingly, the city’s Tax Department and the Authority of the Da Nang High-Tech Park and Industrial Parks are asked to study the content of the Decision to ensure compliance with regulations and authority, as well as promptly advise the municipal People's Committee to direct the handling of difficulties and problems beyond authority.

Under a decision signed by Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai recently, the government has extended the 30% cut in land rental fee it made this year for one more year.

The beneficiary entities include organisations, units, businesses, households, and individuals who are directly leased land by the state according to decisions, contracts or certificates of land use rights and of ownership rights to residential houses and other assets attached to land.

The decision applies to cases where the lessees do not fall under the exempted or reduced rental fee categories, those whose exemptions or reductions have expired, and those currently receiving reductions in rental fees following the Land Law and other relevant laws. The new reduction levels are calculated based on the rental fees payable for the year as stipulated by the law.

The decision will take effect from November 20, 2023.
