Da Nang prioritises dynamic and key projects
Under its Prime Minister-approved planning for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050, Da Nang will prioritise implementing a series of dynamic and key projects during the planning period.

Many traffic, tourism and commercial projects
According to the planning, there will be seven projects invested and supported by the National Government. They will be a section of West Ring Road No.2 connecting Road No. 8 in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park to the intersection at the end of the Hai Van - Tuy Loan bypass; the bypass expansion project on the southern side of the new Hai Van Tunnel; the expansion of the Da Nang High-Tech Park; the conversion of the Tho Quang Fishing Port and Wholesale Seafood Market into a commercial center and fishery logistics service center associated with tourism (a project to upgrade and expand the Tho Quang Fishing Port in Da Nang in the phase 3); the major fishing center; the technical center to support regional industrial development in Da Nang; and the Da Nang University Village.
Also, many large-scale transportation projects will be carried out in the city, including the Lien Chieu Port; technical infrastructure development, the expansion of passenger terminal T1 and the construction of passenger terminal T3 at the Da Nang International Airport; the railway station relocation; and the upgrade of National Highway 14G.
Heed will be on the construction of the airport traffic connection route to the west and upgrading infrastructure to improve the operating capacity of Da Nang International Airport; a route connecting Nguyen Sinh Sac Street to Hoang Van Thai Street; the western route of Luong Stream eco-tourism area; a route connecting road No.7 in the Lien Chieu Industrial Park with Ngo Xuan Thu Street; a route connecting the Western Ring Road to the La Son - Tuy Loan Expressway; a route No. 9 connecting the Da Nang High-Tech Park with the Western Ring Road; and some roads along Tuy Loan, Yen and Cau Do rivers.
Also, traffic intersection cluster Le Thanh Nghi - Cach Mang Thang Tam - Thang Long - road leading to the Hoa Xuan Bridge; coach stations in the north and west of the city; bridges across Tuy Loan, Cai, Cam Le and Cu De rivers; inland waterway ports; parking lots in the city; and mass transit projects such as MRT (subway, high-speed train), LRT (urban light rail) or similar forms will be built.
Notably, there will be nine technical infrastructure projects for logistics services: the Lien Chieu Port; cargo Station (railway logistics); Hoa Hiep Bac new urban area; High-Tech Park; Hoa Nhon, Hoa Ninh, Hoa Phuoc and Hoa Phu dry ports; and other warehouses on highway bypasses, and in industrial parks and clusters.
As for tourism planning, the city plans to implement projects to improve infrastructure and landscape, and create some architectural highlights along the Hoang Sa - Vo Nguyen Giap - Truong Sa route; renovate infrastructure, embankments, landscape and create architectural highlights along Nguyen Tat Thanh Street; develop Sung Co and Ma Da destinations, Luong Stream tourist area, tourist areas east and southwest of Hai Van Pass, Chim Chim Hill eco-tourism area, and tourist area west of Hai Van Bypass; and build the ‘River of Light’, Bach Dang - Nguyen Van Troi - Tran Hung Dao walking street, nighttime service area, commercial and service area combined with underground parking, a nighttime service area at the boundary area of Binh Minh 4 - Binh Minh 10 - Bach Dang - September 2 Street streets, and a separate night entertainment complex.
Importance will be attached to carrying out the community-based tourism development project at the Tho Quang - Man Thai beach, the Nam O eco-tourism area project, utility infrastructure investment project for Hoa Vang community tourism areas, An Thuong tourist street at phase 2; international culinary village; botanical park and zoo at the Dong Xanh - Dong Nghe area; and historical and cultural theme park.
Besides, a number of commercial projects will be implemented, such as the upgrade, renovation, expansion and rebuild of Con, Han, Dong Da, Hoa Khanh and Tho Quang markets and others; non-tariff area and accompanying services; free trade zones; non-tariff zones and accompanying services; the outlet shopping center; and commercial centers and supermarkets in districts.

IT complex projects
There will be ten complex projects, including the Hoa Khanh Nam ecological urban business and commercial center; the An Don central business and commercial area (CBD); a complex of commercial and service buildings combined with housing to serve the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival; the Creative Space project in Hoa Xuan Ward; and the yacht production and service complex in Da Nang.
In addition, the Song Han Port will be converted into a tourist port; international marina; whilst the Da Phuoc and Thuan Phuoc international marinas will be developed.
The golf course combined with tourism service in Hoa Trung Lake, and the Hoa Lien - Hoa Bac, Hoa Phong - Hoa Phu and Hoa Phu - Hoa Nhon golf course complexes combined with tourism services, will be built.
In the fields of information technology, industry, and industrial infrastructure, there will be dozens of large-scale projects such as Viettel Da Nang Building; Danang Bay Information Technology Park; a telecommunications and information technology data centre (Data Center); a high-tech research and development center; a high-tech training center in the Da Nang High-Tech Park; the high-tech data service research and development center - HTC Digital Park; new yacht building factory in the Lien Chieu Industrial Park; a chip and biosensor production project; Hoa Khanh Nam, Hoa Lien and Hoa Nhon industrial clusters; Hoa Cam Industrial Park phase 2; Hoa Ninh Industrial Park; and Hoa Nhon Industrial Park.
