The hosts Team Da Nang-Viet Nam |
Officially founded in August 2008, the hosts Team Da Nang-Viet Nam will show that their modern firework firing equipment is on a par with the other contenders. All the 10 team members have been trained abroad and they have repeatedly raised the level of the performance art of fireworks over recent years. The team has always left a good impression on its audiences with fascinating performances at all the previous Da Nang competitions. The spirits of solidarity and nobility are the main features of this team. From its inception to date, Da Nang-Viet Nam has made clear progress over the years.
One member, Mr Vo Tien Thu, remarked that his team has now enriched its experience in creating a harmony between enchanting support music, impressive lighting effects, and sparkling colours in a bid to produce spectacular fireworks displays.
In particular, the hosts say that they are very eager to compete against their strong foreign rivals at DIFF 2017 because they are amongst the best in the world.
Team Da Nang-Viet Nam won the 'Best of' award at GlobalFest 2014 in Vancouver, Canada, and ranked 3rd in the 2016 PYROMAGIC fireworks festival in Poland. Hopefully, the team will thrill their home fans with their majestic, delicate and meaningful display.
This is the first time that Fireevent Die Feuerwerker (Team Austria) has participated in this competition. They are renowned around the world for their implementation of complex challenges and the talented team always strive for perfection during each of their fireworks shows, with DIFF 2017 no exception. The eternal aim of the Austrian team is to deliver the most impressive fireworks show imaginable to the audience.
Team Austria |
The team’s leader, Mr Micheal Rehak, remarked that his team has spent about 300 hours practising for their display, selecting unique fireworks products, and doing other related tasks. The team is keeping secret the detailed outlines of their upcoming performance, but they vow to bring unforgettable moments to the spectators.
His wife Manuela, a fellow team member, happily reports that the team has gained rich experience from competing in other international fireworks competitions around the world. Most notably, Fireevent Die Feuerwerker last year ranked 2nd in both the Pyronale in Berlin, Germany, and the Les Masters de Feu in Compiègne, France.
She added that, like her team, the other contestants are focussing hard on their preparations to deliver their best possible performances at the challenging but fascinating DIFF. Mrs Rehak and her teammates are very eager to enjoy the displays of their rivals. The message Team Austria wants to convey is that they would like all the audience members at DIFF to join them on a journey of discovery and witness with their own eyes a one-of-a-kind fireworks party.
