CJ E&M, the leading entertainment and media content company of South Korea, will open the 1^st overseas television channel exclusively for airing 'hallyu' content in Viet Nam, Malaysia and Hong Kong (China).

On Monday, a spokeperson for CJ E&M said that the company plans to launch a channel called 'TV Blue' in Viet Nam, 'tvN Movies' in Malaysia, and 'CJ Entertainment Pack' in Hong Kong to provide its fans there with Korean movies, pictures and K-pop music.

TV Blue will be operated by the company’s unit in Viet Nam, CJ Blue Corp, by leasing the Vietnamese TV channel VTC5 by 2022.

After the pilot service, it will go into full service in June.
