At around 9.00pm on Saturday, the fireworks display by the hosts Da Nang-Viet Nam lit up the city’s night sky.

Themed ‘The Legendary River Banks’, the team’s show lasted 21 minutes and 10 seconds.

Mr Huynh Ngoc Chinh, leader of the hosts Da Nang-Viet Nam, said a total of 4,320 low, middle and high-level fireworks were utilised by his team. These fireworks featured different shapes such as shells, cakes, fan, Roman candles, water shells, water ballets and water cakes.

Their show featured 5 parts, respectively themed ‘Peacefulness’ highlighting Vietnamese light music; ‘Fighting’ with ‘One above All’ performed by Two Steps from Hell, ‘Victory’ with the song ‘Dear Viet Nam’ by FM Band; ‘Integration’ with the song ‘Touch by Touch’ by Joy Band; and ‘ Development’ with the song ‘Da Nang Fireworks’ by F5 Band.

The brilliant fireworks performed by the hosts Da Nang-Vietnam reflected the great efforts of Da Nang - a young and dynamic city in the current context of global integration.
