Da Nang Tet Market opens
Museum of Da Nang on Saturday, January 22, hosted Tet Market at the Dien Hai Citadel, a special national-level relic site. The event will remain open until through tomorrow, January 23.
Visiting the Tet Market, locals and tourists can immerse themselves in the traditional culture and folk games for Tet Festival, providing joyful experiences for them.
This year's Tet Market offers typical local products and goods for Tet. In addition, visitors to this event can experience making Banh Chung (Square Glutinous Rice Cake), Banh Tet (Cylinder Sticky Rice Cake), writing calligraphy, making Hoi An lanterns, making lucky money envelopes, and performing Bai Choi, as well as trying on Ao Dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) for free. In addition, visitors can also participate in folk games and an online photo contest about “Ao Dai on Spring Day”, as well as watch Ao Dai fashion shows.
