The Da Nang Tourism Promotion Centre has recently announced the winners of the photo contest for South Korean nationals.

Themed ‘Danang In My Heart’, the photo contest was open to South Korean nationals who are working and living in Viet Nam and in their country from November 15 to December 15, 2021.

After one month of launching on Instagram, the contest’s organisers received a combined total of 686 entries with the hashtag #내마음의다낭(Da Nang in my heart), and then selected top 26 valid entries to present the prizes.

As a result, a series of photos from the 1004ttl Instagram account owned by Lee Jeong Beom showing the vibrant nightlife of Da Nang won the ‘Danang Fantastic Heart’ award (the first prize).

The first-prize winner received an all-inclusive trip to Da Nang for 2 people in 2022, and a gift voucher worth KRW 300,000 (about VND5.7 million), sponsored by Hanatour.

Meanwhile, the Da Nang Heart prizes (second prizes) were given out to top 5 most-liked entries on Instagram accounts with a high number of followers. Each second prize winner received a voucher for a one-night stay for 2 people at the Furama Danang Resort in 2022 and a gift voucher worth KRW 100,000 (about VND1.8 million).

The photo contest 'Da Nang in My Heart' is a social media campaign to advertise the image of Da Nang to South Korean nationals, and promote travel to Da Nang.
