Painting exhibition for disadvantaged children opens until June 20
The 2nd ‘Raising Dreams’ painting exhibition for disadvantaged, disabled and orphaned children opened at the Da Nang Fine Arts Museum, 78 Le Duan Street, on Saturday.
Co-organised by the museum, the municipal Association for Supporting Orphans and the Disabled, and the Village of Hope, the event aims to celebrate the International Children's Day (June 1) and respond to the Action Month for Children 2022.
Also, its purpose is to create a useful playground for disadvantaged, disabled and orphaned children to develop their talents and passion for arts, as well as give spiritual encouragement to them to well integrate into the community.
On display at the exhibition are more than 60 paintings created by children with diverse materials such as wax, oil wax and watercolours. The displayed paintings showcase children’s pure and innocent souls, their simple dreams, and their special love for their homeland and country.
The exhibition lasts until June 20.
