The Son Tra Book Fair 2022 kicked off on Friday at a part near the eastern end of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge on Tran Hung Dao Street, Son Tra District. This is a programme within the framework of festive activities on the both sides of the iconic Han River. 2022, helping residents and visitors gain a deeper insight into reading culture.

The book fair is running from June 24 to 26, featuring 25 booths of book publishing and business units.

This year’s book fair treats visitors with many interesting activities such as the display of books and stationery items, multimedia mobile library vehicles and skill-training games, the Golden Bell contest, the exhibition of paintings by artists and student, a book storytelling, booth decoration and art book arrangement contests.

In particular, there is a booth for receiving books and cultural products in donation from all organisations and individuals. The donations will be transferred to in-school libraries, book-themed coffee parks and public bookcases in an effort to develop community reading culture throughout the city.
