Twelve spring flower gardens across Da Nang in service of the Lunar New Year 2023 officially opened to the public on Wednesday evening.

Decorated under the theme of ‘Convergence and Development’, the flower gardens cost a total of VND13.78 billion funded by the city budget and socialization capital.
They are arranged on the sidewalk of Bach Dang Street in front of the T-Bridge; sidewalks to the northwest and southwest of the Dragon Bridge in Hai Chau District, and northeast of the Dragon Bridge in Son Tra District; in front of the Da Nang Administration Center; in front of 32 Bach Dang, 72 Bach Dang, 12 Tran Phu and 23 Tran Phu; along Bach Dang Street; the APEC Sculpture Garden, and the East Sea Park.
According to the Da Nang Management Board of Industrial and Civil Engineering Construction and Investment Projects, the cat mascot in the middle of the main flower bed of the flower garden northeast of the Dragon Bridge was removed on the evening of January 18 under the direction of the municipal Department of Construction and was replaced by sunflower pots by the construction unit.
