The programme featured 7 elaborately choreographed dance performances by artists from the Han River Dance Troupe and the Military Zone 5’s dance group.

In particular, performances entitled ‘Dan Ca Ba Mien’ (Folk songs of Three Regions of Viet Nam), ‘Dau Chan Tren Cat’ (Footprints in the sand), and ‘Thu Giac Ngan Nam’ (Waking up a thousand years) were highly appreciated by the audience.

In addition, there were solo performances and a performance of traditional Vietnamese musical instruments.

This is the first time the municipal Dancers’ Association has launched an outdoor folk-dance programme, opening the schedule to bring professional dance art closer to the public. This will help enrich events to celebrate major national holidays and contribute to the development of the city’s culture and tourism sectors.
