According to the organisers, about 5,000 fireworks tickets are issued in each performance night, less than in previous DIFFs.

Grasping the needs and tastes of visitors, many high-rise buildings, riverside hotels and tourist boats have launched product packages (combo) to serve visitors.

Most recently, owners of tourist boats operating on the Han River have launched a product package to enjoy DIFF 2023 on yachts with a very detailed and specific schedule from picking up guests, taking them to visit bridges and enjoying fireworks performances.

Mr. Dang Hoa, the owner of the Han Giang tourist boat, said DIFF is one of the city’s most-anticipated events in the summer. Therefore, he has been well prepared in terms of on-board services as well as water safety, and abided by the city’s rules and regulations during the fireworks festival.

“Basically, a number of new on-board services have been added such as fireworks tickets added with drinks and snacks but the prices still fluctuate between VND700,000 and VND1million/ticket/person. Ticket prices are listed and publicly announced through channels” Mr. Hoa informed.

Meanwhile, restaurants and hotels along the banks of the Han River have launched incentive programmes for guests who want to book a place to watch fireworks.

Located on Le Van Duyet Street in Son Tra District’s Nai Hien Dong Ward, the Wyndham Danang Golden Bay Hotel has the advantage of a high terrace, convenient for fireworks enjoyers.

Mr. Tran Hung, the hotel's communications manager, said that the hotel has launched special incentive programmes for groups of guests who want to enjoy fireworks performances at the hotel.

Specifically, the outdoor programme at the gold-plated infinity pool on the 29th floor is offered at the price of VND899,000/pax, including draft beer, soft drinks, or bottled water. Here, visitors can comfortably enjoy the fireworks displays or the beauty of the Han River at night.

Additionally, visitors can also choose to have a dinner party while watching the fireworks performances at the F29 Golden Beef & Sky Bar restaurant with the price of VND1.8 million/person.

Nestled in a prime location right near the fireworks stands, the Glamor Danang Hotel is also an ideal place to watch the fireworks shows.

Mr. Nguyen Quang Cuong, CEO of the hotel, said that the hotel has rooms with windows overlooking the fireworks performing areas.

Also, there will be a BBQ buffet dinner programme offering more than 30 European and Asian specialties and free unlimited drinking water at the prices of VND350,000/child and VND700,000/adult at the 2nd floor of the hotel; and VND450,000/child and VND900,000/adult at a rooftop restaurant.

If visitors do not want to use services at high-rise buildings or yachts, they have many other options to watch the fireworks by coming early to choose locations from the Han River, Thuan Phuoc and Dragon bridges or from both sides of the Han River.

Highlights of DIFF main stage

According to the organisers of DIFF 2023, this year's 1,050mDIFF main stage is located on the east bank of the Han River on Tran Hung Dao Street.

Covering an area of about 9,500m2, viewing stands along the eastern bank of the Han River will offer a total of 5,000 ticketed seats in 3 subdivisions with 8 areas.

Aside from a special design with a part on the shore and a part reaching out to the river, this year's fireworks stage features a lifting light truss frame and modern laser led effect technology, which can be raised and lowered at an angle of 87 degrees.

DIFF 2023’s main stage has a modern and spacious style to maximise the brilliant nightscape of the city. The highlight of the stage is a place seal, aiming at conveying the message that Da Nang is the convergence of global connectivity and the solidarity of the 5 continents in overcoming difficulties and challenges after the COVID-19 pandemic.

Besides, the stage integrates water music combined with the sparkling Han River surface behind, creating special visual effects for the audience.
