The 2023 mini football tournament for Japanese enterprises operating in Da Nang concluded on Saturday evening.

The Neolab Vietnam Co., Ltd was crowned champion of the 2023 mini football tournament for Japanese enterprises in the men's football category

After 20 days of exciting competitions, the organisers found the best male and female teams of this year’s tournament.

Accordingly, in the women's football category, the Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Co., Ltd., won the first prize.

The second and third prizes went to the Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd., and the Fujikura Automotive Vietnam Co., Ltd., respectively. The Hatsuta Automatic Safety Solution Co., Ltd. was awarded the Fair Play prize.

In the men's football category, the Neolab Vietnam Co., Ltd., was crowned champion.

Meanwhile, the Fujikura Automotive Vietnam Co., Ltd., and the Daiwa Vietnam Co., Ltd., claimed the second and third prizes respectively. The Fair Play prize was given out to the Morito Da Nang Co., Ltd.

In addition, there were prizes for best goalkeepers and best scorers.

Co-organised by the Da Nang Confederation of Labour and the Japanese Business Association in Da Nang, the sports event attracted 24 male and 6 female teams from 24 Japanese enterprises operating in the city.

Notably, the tournament saw the participation of the Japan Football Club whose members are Japanese experts working in the city.

Director of the Da Nang Labour Culture House Nguyen Thi Tuyet Nhung highlighted the significance of the mini football tournament in fostering friendship and love of sports among Vietnamese and Japanese workers, as well as widely publicising the meaning of the Workers' Month and the Action Month for Labour Safety and Hygiene 2023 in the Japanese business community in Da Nang.
