Learning tools donated to 200 disadvantaged children in schools
As part of the ‘Zero dong charity book store’ program, the Da Nang Youthh Union on Thursday, September 9, worked with the municipal Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation and and the City Children's Palace to present learning tools totalling VND 100 million for 200 poor school pupils in Cam Le and Son Tra districts. Each of them received books, notebooks, rulers, pens, ink, children's stories and more.
Mrs Nguyen Thi Anh Dao, the Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Youthh Union, said that this program has been implemented in the city for a second time with the aim of supporting disadvantaged children in schools to begin their new academic year.
The donated learning tools were funded by the Thien Long Group, the representative office of Agribank in the Central region, the Central region branch of the Kim Dong Publishing House, along with the Da Nang Youthh Union, the municipal Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organisation and and the City Children's Palace.
