The Viet Nam Digital Awards 2022 has been launched by the Viet Nam Digital Communications Association.

Sponsored by the Ministry of Information and Communications, the purpose of the annual awards is to honour the outstanding digital transformation achievements by individuals, businesses and State agencies, thereby contributing to promoting the nation’s digital transformation.

Entries for this year’s awards should be submitted to the organisers via the website at https://vda.com.vn/ from now until July 15. The awards ceremony is slated for mid-October.

The Viet Nam Digital Awards 2022 still remains four categories of typical digital transformation products, services and solutions; excellent digital transformation businesses; excellent digital transformation State agencies and non-business units; and products and services that aim to bridge the digital divide.

However, this year’s event will add one category for honouring foreign products, services and solutions. This new award category will be selected and awarded to a foreign organisation with a legal representative in Viet Nam or a foreign individual with a permanent residence card in Viet Nam operating in the ICT field.

After 4 years of organisation, the Viet Nam Digital Awards has accessed more than 10,000 State agencies and businesses in 63 provinces and cities nationwide. It has attracted about 1,000 entries from State agencies, organizations, business communities and individuals nationwide; as well as honoured 260 typical digital transformation initiatives, and excellent digital transformation agencies and organisations.

Most proudly, Da Nang was one of the 11 honourees in the category of Excellent Digital Transformation State Agencies and Non-business Units at the Viet Nam Digital Awards 2021-VDA for its Shared Data Warehouse.
