Da Nang to spend VND 35 billion on IT projects in 2022
The Da Nang government has approved the list of programmes and projects on information technology application and development in the city this year with a total amount of VND35 billion funded by the municipal budget.
Accordingly, the municipal Department of Information and Communications will implement programmes and projects such as upgrading the city's official email system, supplementing the city's public service portal functions, upgrading the declaration management and access control system in the city and connect with the national one, organising training courses on digital transformation and organising drills to respond to information security incidents.
Units under the municipal Department of Information and Communications will implement programmes such as upgrading COVID-19 close contact management applications, adding management modules, supporting COVID-19 patients for treatment at home/tourist facilities and promoting additional storage and computing capacity for the Da Nang Data Centre.
The municipal Department of Justice shall upgrade the notarisation database system, building database and management software for legal aid beneficiaries in the city.
The municipal Department of Home Affairs will be in charge of upgrading the system of managing records of cadres, civil servants and public employees, and evaluating work results as well.
The municipal Department of Transport will task itself with developing information management software and providing services and utilities for bus passengers.
The municipal Department of Natural Resources and the Environment must upgrade the city's shared monitoring platform.
The municipal People's Committee Office will set a sight on upgrading and supplementing the city's electronic one-stop-shop software, building an intelligent parking management system at the Da Nang Administrative Centre, building software to manage assignments of agencies and units.
Likewise, the district-level People's Committees shall make a push towards digital transformation for wards and communes.
