First-ever Viet Nam Data Summit to take place on June 24
Themed ‘Let the data speak for itself’, the Viet Nam Data Summit 2022, the first of its kind in the country, will be held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 24.
The summit will focus its discussions on the role of data in digital transformation journey; the global trends of data development and how to convert data into values for enterprises; data for small-and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs); ways to develop a data-driven culture in companies, and case studies from businesses that have successfully exploited their data pool.
In particular, the upcoming event will launch a ‘Data Room’ where experts will provide SMEs and individuals with free consultancy on building a data culture, how to utilise data to drive digital transformation, data processing, and human resource development.
The forum is expected to see the participation of domestic and foreign data analysis experts and scientists.
Data analysis and management is among the 5 most critical factors driving digital transformation, affirmed CEO of Western Digital Viet Nam Truong Ba Toan. If businesses can take advantage and handle the existing data well, they can turn the data into added value over time and gain positive results in their businesses.
Jointly organised by the Ho Chi Minh Computer Association (HCA) and Western Digital Viet Nam, the summit will be held at the Caravelle Saigon Hotel and is expected to attract 400 delegates from a range of fields
