'Make in Viet Nam' Digital Technology Product Awards 2022 launched

The Ministry of Information and Communications on Wednesday launched the ‘Make in Viet Nam’ Digital Technology Product Awards 2022 in Ha Noi.

Co-organised by the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the event aims to honour impact digital products contributing to the acceleration of e-government, digital economy and digital society in Viet Nam.

Eligible nominees are Vietnamese or foreign-invested enterprises whose at least 51% of stake is owned by Vietnamese investors.

The awards is also open to businesses or organisations whose digital technology products are researched, designed, created and manufactured in Viet Nam and put into practice.

There will be four categories of awards, namely best product in e-government, best product in digital economy, best product in digital society and most promising one. Notably, the ‘Most Promising Digital Products’ awards are only applicable to non-business organisations, small and medium-sized enterprises, or creative startups.

Entries will be evaluated based on not only design and innovation but also their impacts on the acceleration of e-government, digital economy and digital society.

Entries should be submitted via website http://makeinvietnam.mic.gov.vn/ no later than September 22.
