The cardiovascular centre of the Da Nang General Hospital has just been put into operation at 138-140 Hai Phong Street. This is a 236 billion VND (11.23 million US$) medical project approved by the municipal People’s Committee in 2015. The construction and operation of the 200-bed Centre, which provide cardiovascular examinations, treatment and surgeries for patients with heart diseases from Da Nang and its neighbouring localities.
The centre is recognised as the leading medical facility in the central region in terms of treatment and intervention of cardiovascular diseases. Besides, the venue will coordinate with leading experts from Germany, the U.S., Switzerland, Japan and other countries to organise intensive training programmes on cardiology and online medical consultations in a bid to timely save the lives of patients in critical conditions.
