Located in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province, the Ban Gioc Waterfall is one of the world's 10 most amazing waterfalls. This tourist spot is very inviting to both domestic and foreign tourists.
The Ban Gioc Waterfall consists of two parts. The upper part is a secondary waterfall because of the small amount of water. The lower part is the main waterfall lying on the Viet Nam-China borderline.
According to the Treaty of Land Border between China and Viet Nam signed in 1999, the secondary waterfall is entirely in Viet Nam’s territory, whilst the main waterfall is half in Viet Nam and half in China.
Let's take a close look at the Ban Gioc Waterfall which is considered a priceless gift that the nature has given to the northern mountainous province of Cao Bang through breathtaking photos captured by our freelance photographer Nguyen Huu Thanh.
