The DK1/2 rig is located on the southern continental shelf of Viet Nam, about 250-350 nautical miles from the mainland.

Despite extremely harsh weather conditions, officers and men of the DK1/2 Phuc Tan rig under the DK1 Battalion of the Navy Zone 2 are making every effort to overcome all hardships and dangers to fulfill their assigned tasks, thereby contributing to firmly protecting the country's sacred sovereignty over its sea and islands.
