Tet flower streets in Da Nang open until 15th day of first lunar month

Following recent approval by the Da Nang government, spring flower streets in the city open until February 24 (the 15th day of the 1st lunar month) instead of February 19 (the 10th day of the first lunar month) as previous plan.

The extension of the operating time of such flower streets provides an opportunity for many people from other provinces and tourists to enjoy the spring atmosphere after the Tet holiday.

Ms. Le Thi Y Nhi hailing from Quang Binh Province said that she just returned to Da Nang after a home visit to celebrate Tet with her parents. She took the advantage of the favourable weather conditions to go to flower streets to take Tet photos.

Mr. Vo Tuan Kiet from Quang Binh Province who has just returned to work in Da Nang, said that he and his co-workers visited Bach Dang and Tran Hung Dao flower streets to save beautiful moments in the first days of the new lunar year.

The flower streets serving the Lunar New Year of the Dragon is open from February 7 - 19. However, to meet the public needs of sightseeing and enjoying spring, the city has a policy of adding more sources of fresh flowers, maintaining care and extending service time until February 24.
