On Wednesday, 10,000 US$ from Laos’ Champasak Province budget was donated to Da Nang by Mr Chanhthaphphong Nouchanh, the Head of the provincial Party Committee’s Inspection Commission.

The donated money will go to help local residents whose lives were adversely effected by devastating floods affected some of Da Nang’s parts, caused by this year’s 12^th typhoon which swept through Central Viet Nam early this month.

The Laotian official hoped that the city authorities would help local inhabitants affected by the natural disaster return to a normal life as quickly as possible, and that the city would successfully fulfill its socio-economic development targets .

On behalf of the city leaders, the recipient of the donated amount, municipal Fatherland Front Committee Chairwoman Dang Thi Kim Lien sincerely thanked the Laotian locality for its financial aid for her city.
