Canadian PM Justin Trudeau leaves HCM City for Da Nang
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday morning left Ho Chi Minh City for Da Nang where he will attend activities within the ongoing APEC Economic Leaders’ Week (AELW).

On Thursday, PM Trudeau had a meeting with Chairman of the HCM City People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Phong, during which Trudeau stressed that HCM City and Canada boast a lot of potential to step up cooperation in trade and business.
During his stay in HCM City, PM Trudeau visited the HCM Stock Exchange, where he rang a gong to get the afternoon session started and held a roundtable with business leaders.
He also had a talk with students of the HCM City-based Ton Duc Thang University.
Canada ranked 21st amongst 92 countries and territories investing in HCM City, with 67 projects worth more than 110 million USD. Notable programmes included the Canada International School system and the Viet Nam Airlines Training Centre, where Canada’s CAE Inc will provide training services for pilots of Viet Nam.
PM Justin Trudeau paid an official visit to Viet Nam from 8-9 November.
