Fostering bilateral ties with Armenia
During his Thursday reception for Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Vahe Enfiajyan, Da Nang People’s Council Chairman Nguyen Nho Trung briefed his guest on the city’s great potential and advantages.

Notably, focus is being placed on implementing Politburo’s Resolution No 43-NQ/TW regarding the city’s progress by 2030 with a vision toward 204, with a target at developing Da Nang into a green, modern-smart, global city with unique identity.
Chairman Trung also asked for help from the Armenian NA to boost bilateral ties with Armenian localities in such aspects as tourism, hi-tech industry, trade, and investment. In addition, the host vowed that the city authorities would create the most possible favourable conditions for Armenian businesses for the sake of their effective operation in the city.
In reply, Vice President Vahe Enfiajyan affirmed Da Nang shares many similarities with Armenia. The Western Asian country is now promoting the export of high-class electronics and the import of high-quality agricultural products. In particular, recent years has seen stable growth in this country’s tourism market.
The Armenia guest hoped to see his country deepen its bilateral cooperation with Vietnamese localities in years to come, including Da Nang, which is a dynamic, highly inviting city showing off great cooperation potential.
