Fostering bilateral ties with Kazakhstan
During his Tuesday reception for Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Viet Nam Yerlan Baizhanov, Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh expressed his desire to see the bilateral cooperation with Kazakh localities grow in many aspects which fully match the strengths, advantages and expectation of the two sides. Notable amongst them should be tourism, information technology, hi-tech, and people-to-people exchanges.

The host also asked for help from Ambassador Yerlan Baizhanov to encourage even more Kazakh businesses to seek investment opportunies, especially in the aspect of tourism industry, in Da Nang.
“The municipal government would create the most possible favourable conditions for Kazakh businesses to operate effectively in Da Nang,” vowed Vice Chairman Minh.
In reply, the Kazakh Ambassador said he hoped that, in the near future, a port city of Kazakhstan would establish the twining relationship with Da Nang so as to strengthen their cooperative ties.
The Kazakh diplomat also affirmed that he would get more actively involved in fostering the bilateral cooperation between Da Nang and the Central Asian country in some certain aspects in which the two sides show off great potential and strengths.
