A group of Da Nang leaders led by municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Wednesday morning paid visits to the High Command of Military Region 5 and the Da Nang Military Command to extend greetings to their staff on the occasion of the 77^th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA) and the 30^th All People’s Defense Festival (December 22).

During his visits to the High Command of Military Region 5 and the Da Nang Military Command, Secretary Quang highlighted their achievements over recent years. He praised the support Da Nang has received from them to promote local socio-economic development as well as ensure security and social order in the city.

Mr Quang also highlighted the great work they have done to support the city’s fight against COVID-19.  

On behalf of the leaders of the High Command of Military Region 5, Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach, the Political Commissar of Military Region 5, thanked the government and the people of Da Nang for their great care and support to his unit.

Lieutenant General Trinh Dinh Thach also asked for continued support from the city to help his unit fulfill its assigned tasks.

Secretary Quang hoped that military officers and men in Da Nang to continue their efforts to support the city in driving its growth and successfully fulfill their assigned tasks in 2022.
