Da Nang leaders deliver Tet wishes to functional forces on Lunar New Year's Eve duties
On Monday evening, which was Lunar New Year's Eve, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People's Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh paid visits to some functional forces on duty during the ongoing 2022 Lunar New Year (Tet) break.

During his Tet trip to the Da Nang Electricity One Member Company Limited, Standing Deputy Secretary Triet highly appreciated the company for ensuring smooth electricity supplies for major political events of the country and the city and for COVID-19 prevention and control tasks at COVID-19 treatment and quarantine facilities and for production activities and daily life of the local people, as well as well performing social security work.
The city leader suggested that the company proactively assign staffers to ensure power supplies and quickly handle problems if any in a bid to secure jubilant Tet festival for all local residents.
Also, it is a must-do for the company to proactively supply electricity in service for local production and business activities and ensure the power source at key projects and continue to put the power grid underground for the urban beauty for the city.
Whilst extending Tet greetings to the Da Nang General Hospital, Standing Deputy Secretary Triet highly applauded the hospital's progress in healthcare services, information technology applications and the reform of medical examination and treatment procedures.
In particular, the hospital well performed COVID-19 prevention and control tasks and ensured the effective treatment of COVID-19 patients at the field hospital located at the city’s western dormitory complex with a focus on minimising the number of deaths.
In the coming time, the municipal government will continue to pay attention to facilitating the hospital to become a prestigious medical examination and treatment place for people inside and outside the city.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Standing Deputy Secretary Triet extended Tet wishes to the hospital’s staff and encouraged them to well fulfil their tasks of medical examination and treatment, and pandemic prevention during the Tet holiday.
Visiting the workers of Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, who were performing their duties in front of the Da Nang Monument Peace on September 2 Street), Standing Deputy Secretary Triet hailed their work dedication towards ensuring a green - clean – beautiful face to the city.

Also on Monday evening, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh extended Lunar New Year's greetings to patrol force No. 8394 in Hai Chau 1 Ward, Hai Chau District, Xuan Ha Ward, Thanh Khe District, the 911 force on duty in front of the Museum of Cham Sculpture, Traffic Police and Mobile Police divisions under the municipal Police Department, and the Da Nang TV.
He noted that these above-mentioned units should strengthen inspections and reviews, focusing on fire prevention and fighting tasks, thus contributing to ensuring a joyful and safe Tet break for all residents and visitors.
