During his reception on Thursday for Lieutenant Colonel Sebastien Drouelle, captain of the frigate Vendemiaire of the French Navy, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Tran Chi Cuong wished the delegation to have useful experiences and exchange activities during their stay in the city.

The city leader affirmed that the visit by the frigate Vendemiaire contributed to strengthening the friendly and cooperative relations between Viet Nam and France in general, and Da Nang and French localities in particular.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Sebastien Drouelle thanked the city leaders and relevant departments and agencies for the warm welcome.

He said that during their stay in Da Nang, officers and sailors of the Vendemiaire frigate will participate in cultural and sports exchange activities with units from the Viet Nam Coast Guard Region 2 Command, as well as experience culture, cuisine, and beautiful scenery of the central coastal city.
