14 billion VND for public beach access between Furama Resort and Ariyana
The Da Nang People’s Committee has given a nod to the granting of 14 billion VND from the city budget to create a coastal footpath allowing public access to beaches between the Furama Resort Danang and the Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Khue My Ward.
In particular, the total planning area of the project will be increased from 12,782m2 to 13,236m2.
The walkway’s width will be expanded to 5m from 3m as previously approved, whilst the boundary of the project will be extended to the south by taking back 454m of the Ariyana Danang Tourism Complex. The intention is to create a beach walkway associated with a public promenade park for local residents and visitors.
Under the detailed plan, the project will also feature a square, a playground for children, a parking area for motorcycles and bicycles, automatic foot washing systems decorative lights, easy-to-use outdoor fitness equipment, stone benches, ornamental trees along the footpath in a bid to serve tourists and make the soon-to-be-completed beach walkway more inviting to them.
As for the project’s entrance area, existing ditches will be replaced with around 70m-long concrete box culverts.
