Da Nang university lecturers make free hand sanitisers to prevent Covid-19 infection
Lecturers from the Da Nang-based University of Technology and Education have made their own hand sanitisers meeting the standards of the World Health Organisation (WHO) to help local residents to prevent the coronavirus (Covid-2019) infection.
On Tuesday afternoon, their products were offered free to the Thanh Binh Ward authorities in Hai Chau District, and 4 schools in this ward. These schools were the Mang Non Pre-School, the Ong Ich Khiem and Tran Thi Ly primary schools, and the Le Hong Phong Junior High School. Accordingly, thirty 350ml bottles of hand sanitisers went to each of the recipients.
According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phan Cao Tho, Rector of the University of Technology and Education, lecturers from his school have made 380 bottles of hand sanitisers to date. Their products are being offered free to the school’s staff and its students.
