Over 10,000 face masks provided free for visitors to the city
On 8 and 9 February, the Da Nang-based UNESCO Hanoi Travel Club cooperated with some tour operators in the city to offer over 10,000 free face mask to visitors at Da Nang International Airport, the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, and the Museum of Cham Sculpture. This was considered as a meaningful act amid the novel coronavirus threat.

Currently, Da Nang is still a safe destination for visitors from both home and abroad amid growing fears of a deadly virus.
Over recent days, such popular attractions in the city as the Marble Mountains Tourist Area and the Museum of Cham Sculpture have welcomed a large number of foreign visitors, mainly from the USA, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia.
Previously, the Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area had given free face masks to visitors. Also, this site had been cleaned up in a bid to prevent the possible spread of the epidemic in the city.
