Large fire breaks out at automotive seat cover plant
A large fire broke out at a 3,000m2 automotive seat cover plant in Thuan Phuoc Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang, in the night of 12 April.

Witnesses reported seeing plumes of thick black smoke from the plant, and they called firefighters for help.
Over 100 firefighters along with 20 fire engines from the district’s Division of Fire Fighting and Prevention were on the scene, trying to contain the blaze.
Nearby residents were advised to run out of their houses to safety because there were many cars inside the plant and its surrounding areas.

Firefighters had a difficult time discovering the source of the fire that created the thick black smoke.
Therefore, some vehicles of the Da Nang Urban Environment JSC were sent to the scene to support the firefighting.
Thanks to the great efforts of the firefighters, the blaze was completely extinguished after many hours.
Many machines and equipment along with 2 cars inside the plant were completely destroyed.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
