Vinaconex donates medical supplies worth 2.45 billion VND to Da Nang

In their efforts to help Da Nang fight against Covid-19, representatives from the Viet Nam Construction and Import-Export Joint Stock Corporation (Vinaconex) on Tuesday, gave donations of medical supplies, totalling 2.45 billion VND, to some local healthcare facilities.

Specifically, Vinaconex donated such medical equipment as a ‘Made-in-USA’ color Doppler ultrasound, and thermal and photo printers, to the Da Nang General Hospital.

Dr Nguyen Thanh Trung, Deputy Director of the Da Nang General Hospital, thanked Vinaconex for their valuable support and timely in-kind donations to his hospital. Dr Trung said the Da Nang General Hospital is in need of such medical equipment for their medical examinations and treatment during the coronavirus crisis.

Also, Vinaconex gave an electronic weighing machine, an ultrasonic machines, a photo printer and 2 large-capacity washing machines to the Hoa Vang Field Hospital for Covid-19.

In addition, Vinaconex provided 10,000 free portions of meals for medical facilities and isolation sites across the city.

Mr Vu Van Khoa, Director of the Management Board of the Vinaconex-developed Mikazuki Spa & Hotel Resort project, said that his company is willing to support workforce and material resources to Da Nang to build more field hospitals for Covid-19 patients in response to the pandemic.
