Vietnam Airlines returns more than VND 1 billion left on aircraft to passenger
National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines has returned properties totalling more than VND 1 billion (US$43,417) inattentively left on the flight VN7177 from Ha Noi to Da Nang on April 24 to its owner.
In detail, Vietnam Airlines flight attendants found a wallet left in the seat No.1A which contained US$45,000 and VND 50 million, an ATM card and other important personal papers.
In a prompt fashion, the staff informed the Lost-and-Found counter which then returned the wallet to the passenger.
The recipient was very delighted to get his missing properties back, and later sent a thank-you letter to the Vietnam Airlines staff in recognition of their kindness and honesty.
Every year, Vietnam Airlines flight attendants and ground staff members discover and return valuable properties left on planes to passengers.
In the unlikely event that their baggage is damaged or lost, Passengers are recommended to proceed to the Lost & Found counter at the Baggage Claim area for assistance or contact the airline's representatives and airport security forces for timely assistance.
