More medical workers from Da Nang dispatched to aid HCMC's battle against coronavirus
On Wednesday, October 12, a medical team from the Da Nang-based Police Hospital 199 under the Ministry of Public Security was sent to Ho Chi Minh City to support the country’s largest metropolis in the fight against COVID-19.
The medical team consisted of 8 doctors and 12 nurses, led by Dr. Tran Nam Chung, the hospital’s Deputy Director.
All team members have been fully vaccinated. In HCMC, they will be responsible for treating and caring ill patients with COVID-19 at the Phuoc Loc field hospital under the Ministry of Public Security.
This is the 3rd medical team to have been dispatched by the Police Hospital 199 to HCMC in an effort to support the country’s largest COVID-19 epicenter in its battle against the pandemic. Up to now, the hospital has sent a total of 90 health workers to HCMC.
