First day of the issuance of car number-plates in Hoa Vang District
On Saturday, the Da Nang public started registering for the number-plates for their cars at the Hoa Vang District Police, instead of arriving at the municipal Traffic Police Division as previously.

The new service, which is under Circular 15/ 2022/TT-BCA adopted by the Ministry of Public Security, aims to relived overload at the municipal Traffic Police Division.
Meanwhile, the registration and issuance of motorbike number- plates started being conducted at commune-level police station in Hoa Vang District.
As noted, on Saturday morning, about 10 cars had their number-plates registered at the Hoa Vang District Police headquarters and there were on average 5 - 10 new motorbikes registered at the police stations of each commune in Hoa Vang District.
Under the new regulations, Hoa Vang District Police are in charge of issuing number-plates for cars, tractors, trailers, semi-trailers and other vehicles of similar structure owned by the district-headquartered domestic agencies, organisations and enterprises, military-run enterprises, and individuals with permanent residence in this suburb district.
Meanwhile, the police of the remaining local districts, namely Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Lien Chieu, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son and Cam Le still handle registration procedures and conduct the issuance of license plates for motorbikes, including electric scooters, and others that have similar structure owned by the districts-headquartered domestic agencies, organisations, enterprises, military-run enterprises, individuals with permanent residence in specific districts, foreign agencies, organisations and individuals, projects, economic organisation having joint venture with foreign countries, plus motorcycles of 175 cc or more, and confiscated vehicles.
The police of 11 communes in only Hoa Vang District shall issue licence plates for motorbikes and mopeds, including electric scooters, owned by domestic agencies, organisations, enterprises, military-run enterprises and individuals having head offices or permanent residence in specific communes and foreign agencies, organisations and individuals, projects or economic organisations in joint venture with foreign countries in their respective localities.
Also, the commune-level police organise the revocation of registration certificates, expired licence plates and unusable damaged vehicles owned by the communes-based agencies, organisations and individuals with permanent residence in the locality.
