Art programme to be held in Da Nang on August 9 to mark 61st anniversary of AO disaster

The Trung Vuong Theatre will host the ‘Joining Hands to Relieve the Pain of Agent Orange (AO) Victims’ art programme at 8:00pm on August 9, according to the Da Nang Association of AO/Dioxin Victims.

The programme aims to mark the 61st anniversary of the AO disaster in Viet Nam (August 10), enhance public awareness about the consequences of toxic chemicals/dioxin, and raise funds to support victims of AO in the city.

It will be broadcast live on Da Nang TV2 channel and the Da Nang Radio and Television Station.

Please call the hotlines 19001022 for further information about the meaningful programme as well as for giving donations to victims of AO in the city from July 28 - August 10, 2022.

Moreover, individuals can provide donations for victims of AO nationwide through the use of SMS. By texting DACAM to 1409, a sender can donate VND20,000 to the fund for AO victims. The campaign will last until September 17, 2022.
