Da Nang Labour Confederation receives PM certificate of merit

The Da Nang Labour Confederation received the Prime Minister’s Certificate of Merit for its contribution to the city’s against COVID-19 in the 2020-2021 period at a ceremony on Thursday morning on the occasion of the 93rd founding anniversary of the Viet Nam Trade Union (July 28).

In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic during the two- year period, the Da Nang Trade Union at all levels have stepped up support to their members and have been active in supporting the city’s efforts in its fight against COVID-19. Trade union officials at all levels were not afraid of the virus to reach those in need across the city in efforts to help them overcome difficulties and get through these tough times.

Also at the event, 17 trade union officials at all levels were honoured with campaign medals from the Viet Nam Trade Union for their contributions to the organisation’s development while 50 chairmen of grassroots trade unions were presented with the ‘July 28 Award’.

To mark this occasion, individuals who stood out in the good and creative labour emulation movement in 2022 were honoured with certificates of merit from the Chairman of the municipal People's Committee in recognition of their creative ideas that are very beneficial to their companies, and society at large. Their ideas have helped to bring profit of hundreds of billions of Vietnamese dongs to their companies, thereby contributing to boost production in these businesses, ensure stable jobs for employees, increasing productivity and raising employee wages.
