Hoiana opens its doors to typhoon Noru evacuees
In the face of one of the strongest typhoon ever to hit mid-central region early tomorrow, the Hoiana Resort & Golf, on Tuesday, opened its doors to help evacuees.

The resort's representative said that Hoiana has prepared accommodation for over 400 evacuees.
On Tuesday morning, Hoiana cooperated with local agencies to provide safe shelter for nearly 200 residents in Duy Hai Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province, most of them were the elderly, young children and pregnant women.
Mr. Steve Wolstenholme, President and CEO of Hoiana, said “We always take safety as our top priority. We are ready to welcome people in flood-prone areas to avoid storms. We will do our best to keep residents safe and comfortable in the coming days.”

Currently, Hoiana has prepared nearly 100 rooms, including private bathrooms, blankets and clean water, meeting the essential needs of evacuees.
In addition to accommodations, Hoiana will also provide full meals for all evacuees in the coming days. The resort is expected to welcome about 200 more people from two communes nearby.
