Every year, dozens of new categories are opened to meet political tasks and needs of audiences and listeners. Meanwhile, more than 120 live TV programmes of political, cultural and social events in the city are implemented, and many talk shows on issues of public concern are organised.

Additionally, DRT’s journalists have implemented many news articles and reports on protecting the Communist Party of Viet Nam’s ideological foundation and refuting wrongful and hostile views, and spreading good examples, models and creative ways in the community.

Many journalistic works made by DRT reporters have won high prizes at national and municipal-level press awards.

Not only improving the quality of content, DRT has focused on upgrading facilities, technical equipment and technologies in a bid to serve the information needs of readers.
