Visiting the charity store allowed poor people to choose and buy essential items on store shelves for zero dong. Included were rice, pork, Banh Chung ((square glutinous rice cake), fish sauce, vegetables, fruits, and spices, and these products were funded by benefactors and producers.
Nguyen Thi Le Huyen, the Chairwoman of the Phuoc Ninh Ward People's Committee said that the charity store aimed to provide good spiritual and material care for local poor and disadvantaged households in a bid to help them have a warm and joyful Tet, as well as encourage them overcome their difficulties in life and have a better life, contributing to spread the love in our community in a meaningful and practical way.
"The Tet gifts from the ward authority showed great care of us in both materially and spiritually as the Lunar New Year 2023 is approaching," said Mrs. Nguyen Thi Lai living in Co Giang Street, Phuoc Ninh Ward.
