Solid waste transfer station in Son Tra District put into operation
The Management Board of Da Nang Urban Development and Infrastructure Construction Investment Project, together with the joint coordination of SEEN and SAMCO, has put into operation a solid waste transfer station in Son Tra District to serve the collection, transportation of garbage and general environmental cleaning before, during and after Tet.

The solid waste transfer station in Son Tra District is a modern environmental protection project with two closed garbage pressing systems with a rated capacity of 200 tonnes/8 hours and a maximum capacity of 300 tonnes/8 hours. These two compaction systems can operate with a maximum capacity of 600 tonnes/16 hours.
In addition, the station also has items such as automatic car wash, bulky garbage crushing, odor removal and wastewater treatment systems, along with 4 hooklift trucks to transport garbage containers and 9 large sealed garbage containers.
