Tet gifts given to disabled women, the poor and poor patients
The Da Nang Association of People with Disabilities in collaboration with the An Dien General Trading Company and the Da Nang Newspaper on Friday morning presented more than 150 Tet gifts totaling over 100 million VND to single disabled women, poor households, and patients who are undergoing dialysis at the Da Nang Hospital.

In detail, 100 gifts, each including essential items and cash worth VND 500,000, were given to women with disabilities who are the unmarried and single mothers living under extremely difficult circumstances. The remaining 50 others were presented to disadvantaged households, and poor patients who are undergoing hemodialysis at the Da Nang General Hospital. The gifts cost more than VND 100 million funded by the An Dien General Trading Company.

“Single mother without disabilities face many difficulties in raising their children while challenge will become more pressing for single mother with disabilities. However, I know that all of them are working hard, and many of them have worked hard to raise their children and their children are successful in their careers. All of them are greatly appreciated. The company's small gifts for Tet are just a little support for them to help them overcome the difficulties in life, as well as encourage them to be stronger to rise up in their life”, said Mrs Nguyen Thi Kim.
It is known that 30% of the An Dien company’s employees are people with disabilities, and they have been recruited and trained to have a stable income.
