Ba Na Hills creates a breakthrough for the city's tourism
Phung Xuan Khanh, director of Tien Phong Travel said: “Currently, Tien Phong Travel operates three tours to Da Nang, including visiting Ba Na Hills. The number of Tien Phong tourists going to Da Nang has increased significantly from only a few hundred visitors in 2011 to about 4,000 people now. Sharing his feelings about his first trip to Ba Na Hills, Khanh said: “Ten years ago, Ba Na Hills was born and was dubbed the ‘Road to paradise’, pioneering Vietnamese tourism entertainment trend. When I first came here to survey destinations for Viet Travel Company in 2009, I thought this was Viet Nam’s Disneyland and Vietnamese people will not need to go abroad to play in the park anymore.”
The combination of interesting experiences, beautiful images shared by visitors on social networks and news reports from world-famous press agencies have made a wave attracting visitors to Ba Na Hills, Da Nang and Viet Nam.
The director of Tien Phong Travel added that if there were no Ba Na Hills, it is unlikely domestic and international tourists would hardly know Da Nang, and Da Nang could unlikely stand in the world’s top 10 tourist cities today.
Khanh said: “As soon as I opened my own company Tien Phong Travel, I focused on exploiting the Da Nang tour, in which Ba Na Hills was a highlight destination in every journey. Thanks to Ba Na Hills, in 2011, the number of Tien Phong’s tourists to Da Nang was only a few hundred visitors but now, this number has reached about 4,000 visitors per year ”, he revealed.
Agreeing with Khanh, Tran Thi Minh Duc - Head of Inbound Vietrantour said all Asian customers of Vietrantour, from the most difficult markets like Japan to the Republic of Korea, India and China, all people wanted to go to Ba Na Hills and the Golden Bridge (Cau Vang). Ba Na Hills has really become a milestone for the destination of Da Nang.
“In the past, international visitors to Viet Nam would give priority to HCM City and the western provinces, and then Da Nang and the north. But now, not only international visitors but also Vietnamese people choose Da Nang due to the good infrastructure and services, and the Ba Na Hills area can please everyone," Duc said.

Asian visitors, especially from the Indonesian, Philippine, Chinese and Korean markets are extremely fond ofBa Na Hills because they like to take a cable car to visit Ba Na, enjoy French Village sightseeing with ancient castles such as a ‘miniature Paris’; the 10 flower gardens are brilliant, as is the 21,000sq.m Fantasy Park indoor entertainment area with the most modern games.
