Tourism week featuring traditions of Co Tu people to be held in late April

The Hoa Bac Tourism Week 2023 themed ‘Aspirations for Hoa Bac Commune’ is scheduled to take place in the namesake commune in Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, from April 25 - May 1.

During the week, many impressive arts and cultural performances will be organised to meet the entertainment and sightseeing needs of locals and visitors during the upcoming public holidays for the National Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1).

The highlight of the week will be the Co Tu Cultural Festival to be held from 8:00am - 10:00pm on April 27 at the Guol house in the Gian Bi Village in Hoa Bac Commune. The event which will feature a number of traditional cultural activities of the Co Tu ethnic minority people promises to be an attractive destination for locals and tourists.

In addition, on all evenings of the week, visitors will have an opportunity to enjoy performances of gongs and 'Tung tung da da' dances by Co Tu people.

Moreover, during the week of tourism, there will be many fascinating activities such as paragliding performances, a rural market, a cuisine festival, a traditional boat racing festival, a painting exhibition, and music programmes.
