Over 5 trillion VND to be spent on construction projects
The Da Nang People’s Council has recently approved the spending over 5.095 trillion VND from the city’s budget on local construction projects during 2015.
Top priority will initially be given to paying back the principal and interest on the city’s current loans and providing financial aid for the southern provinces of Laos. The remaining capital will be allocated to the city’s approved construction projects. These include new construction projects such as the Hi-tech Industrial Park, the overpass at the Hue T-junction, the Children's Cultural Palace, and the Hoa Vang and Hai Chau districts’ general hospitals. In addition, there are the upgrades to the General Science Library and the Phu Loc Wastewater Treatment Plant, along with work to reduce the severe environmental pollution in the basin of the Phu Loc River.
