Plans for next year's land-use announced
Plans for next year’s land-use in Da Nang were officially released at the 11th session of the municipal People’s Council in its 8th tenure for the 2011-2016 term, which ended on Thursday.
In detail, a total of 255 new construction works will be implemented, covering a total area of over 2,401ha, 40% of which will be used for residential purposes. In addition, a total of over 167.5ha of local agricultural land and protective forest will be earmarked for 15 development projects.
Also in 2015, land use rights over 207 vacant land lots, totalling over 243.3ha, will be transferred to buyers through public auctions. Appeals will also be made for investment in 7 local projects, covering a total area of nearly 15.2ha, via through public biddings.
The city authorities will take back a total of over 2,340ha of unused land at the construction sites of 157 delayed projects in order to re-lease it to businesses in need of land for production activities.
