Traffic improvement projects to be implemented
The Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF) will grant 2.8 million USD to fund an urban traffic improvement project in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District. The project will be implemented from next month until 2018, with a focus on improving traffic flows in the district on the basis of the application of Toyota technologies and those of its partners.

In detail, a community bus system to transport locals within the district will be developed, plus park-and-ride facilities. In addition, shuttle bus services linking local residential areas with some of the district’s busy public places will be created.
As for a soon-to-be-constructed road tunnel at the western end of the Han River bridge, local traffic police officers and inspectors will be on duty near the site of the project to regulate traffic and avoid traffic congestion during the construction progress.
