On Monday, a total of 21,062 items which were illegally smuggled, prohibited, fake, counterfeit, or poor-quality were destroyed by staff of the Da Nang Market Management Bureau.

The fake and prohibited items about to be destroyed

The items, worth around 1 billion VND in total, included 8,315 children’s toys, 4,409 domestic wine bottles, 3,000 pedestal bases for electric kettles, 1,532 cosmetic products, 335 pairs of glasses, 398 T-shirts, 286 phone accessories, and 149 watches and clocks.

These products have been seized by the Bureau’s staff since the start of this year because they violate the city’s trade and transportation regulations.
